Administrative Experience 1989 to present DIVISION PROFILE 10 member production and support service department offering medical illustration, medical photography, digital imaging, audio-visual support and classroom scheduling services to the research, academic and clinical staff of SUNY Stony Brook. This Division operates on a cost recovery basis. DUTIES as DIVISION DIRECTOR • prepare and administer all operational and accounts receivable budgets for the division • collect and analyze production / activity statistics • directly supervise the Medical Illustration service unit • provide research reporting and assessment services for central administration on innovative academic uses of technology • initiate and maintain cooperative working relationships with Medical Informatics and the HSC Library SPECIAL PROJECTS • design, install and maintain an approved rate structure for services • oversee the design and installation of computer applications to perform the tasks of billing, job tracking and monthly report generation across the various units of the division • specified and cleared sole source justification for the Clinical Skills software solution for the HSC Clinical Skills Center • provide design support with outside contractors for the renovation of the medical teaching lab • confer with Medical Informatics regarding enterprise shift to VTC over IP • provide central administration with classroom and lab space utilization statistics for capital planning • design and maintain division website • provide design services for client support documentation • work with HSC Library staff to create an open source, searchable digital archive of poster displays produced by the division |
